 The purpose of eyelid surgery is to remove excess skin, folds and wrinkles from around your eyes, enabling your eyes and their sparkle to be visible.
Upper Eyelid Surgery

Lower Eyelid Surgery
Through an incision below the lower eye lashes, excess fat, skin and muscle is removed. Because the incision is made underneath your lashes, it is hidden.
 What is Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty?
Transconjunctival blepharoplasty is performed to get rid of wrinkles and tighten the skin near the eyes without removing excess skin. An incision is made within the lower eyelid. To further tighten the skin and assist in removing wrinkles, laser resurfacing or a chemical peel is often done with this procedure.
