Jennifer Emmett, M.D. was hand-selected by Dr. Goldstein from hundreds of qualified plastic surgeons to join his thriving practice, Denver Face and Body.  Dr. Emmett is 41 years of age, and she is highly skilled and experienced in plastic surgery.  Having completed her 5-year general surgery residency at the University of Colorado, she is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Emmett practiced as a breast surgeon for several years before she moved to New York City to receive her plastic surgery training at the world-renown Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  While in New York, she was privileged to learn not only the traditional techniques of plastic and reconstructive surgery, but she was at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies in cosmetic surgery. 

After her plastic surgery training, she was then one of only a handful of surgeons selected from across the country to complete additional training in aesthetic surgery.  To further perfect her surgical skills and to distinguish herself from almost all other plastic surgeons, she chose to do a full twelve months of aesthetic surgery and is now one of only a few surgeons in the country who has done so.  She did this fellowship under the direction of Dr. John Grossman, MD at Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Goldstein’s Education and Experience

Dr. Goldstein has been in plastic surgery after completing his residency in general and plastic surgery from the esteemed Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island in 1985. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa.

Dr. Goldstein completed a Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, adding an additional year to his post-grad plastic surgical studies.

As a Denver plastic surgeon, Dr. Goldstein has 20 years of experience and has established himself in the community as a leading surgeon in Aesthetic and Cosmetic surgery. He continues his education regularly and attends numerous professional conferences and meetings to be at the forefront in techniques and medical advances in plastic surgery.

Dr. Goldstein’s Memberships and Affiliations

Dr. Goldstein is an active member for the elite American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS). He also consults for the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners and is involved with the Denver Public Schools Preceptorship Program, introducing students to medical careers. Other Colorado plastic surgeon memberships include: The Rocky Mountain Society of Plastic Surgery, Colorado Medical Society, Denver Medical Society and the Arapahoe Medical Society.

Dr. Goldstein is the author of many academic publications on plastic, reconstructive and hand surgeries.
