Have you ever wondered what your breasts would look like with implants? Or, have you decided to undergo breast augmentation, but you don’t know which implant will give you the look you want?

Well, look no further! At Emmett Plastic Surgery, we have a unique way of sizing patients so you can actually look in the mirror and see what your post-operative result will look like. This is not a computer-generated image but a real-life, real-time view of the result you can achieve with breast augmentation.

But first…Dr. Emmett has to explain to you the concepts that were important in the design and development of different implant shapes and sizes. There are an infinite number of breast implants on the market and because of this, patient choice has unfortunately taken a back seat to surgeon-discretion.

Why let your surgeon decide the most important choice that must be decided upon before you undergo breast augmentation? When this happens, it is easy to understand why patients wake up after surgery only to be very disappointed with their breast augmentation results….the patient had very little control over the process or did not fully understand the choices that were required to be made prior to surgery.

How are patients supposed to know which implant will give the size they want? In actuality, the choices available for any given patient are actually few in number. Dr. Emmett will break this down to a very easy-to-understand discussion and demonstration.

No one knows better than you what size breast you are envisioning. Patients need to be able to choose the implant that will give them the look they want to achieve. The choice should be simple, straightforward, and easy to understand. Let Dr. Emmett show you which breast implant will give you the look you want!

It is important to mention many surveys indicate approximately 10% of breast augmentation patients will undergo a second operation (at the patient’s expense) in order to get the implant they wanted in the first place. Obviously, it would be best to avoid this unfortunate problem altogether. That is why we have developed a unique way to actually show patients in the office while looking in the mirror. The patient is empowered to choose the implant that will give them the expected result. No guessing.

At Emmett Plastic Surgery, our patients have not had any surprises about their post-operative size, so we have never re-operated on a patient to change their implant size. Come visit us for a complementary consultation to better understand what you will look like after breast augmentation. We would love to show you!
